My final post this year

This is one of the lastest photographs of my Grandson Finn. He is now 11 weeks old and giving us lovely big smiles. Isn't he just adorable.

As promised here is a photograph of my son and his fiancee at their graduation. Their robes were trimmed with a beautiful cerise colour. A lovely day and a very proud moment.

I hope you all have a wonderful Christmas and a happy and healthy New Year.

Last challenge this year

I think this will be my last challenge this year. I have a couple of busy days ahead like most folks with the final preparations for Christmas.
These little boxes will have some homemade sweets in them for gifts. They also fit the Allsorts challenge of 'anything but a card' and I used the 'Stamp with fun' sketch.
I used Craft Creations papers, a free stamp from Cardmaking and Papercraft mag, copics /promarkers, Nesties & Sizzlets heart.

My card today is for my Grandson's first Christmas. I wanted something bright and cheerful which I think I have accomplished.

I used my sketch # 20 from Vee's sketchpad which is a simple layout and fairly quick to make. I made mine into an easel card, one of my favourites just now.

I used Joanna Sheen's
Messy Rabbit and put a santa hat on him and replaced the leaves with holly, Nesties, Copics/Promarkers, Sizzix stars, papers I can't remember, sorry. cuttlebud Dots, liquid pearls and the rest from my stash.

first easel card

I hope everyone has had a great weekend. I have come to the end of my 2 weeks away from work and have enjoyed every minute, albeit busy. So its work clothes out again and preparing for the morning.
I made this card during the week so I have finally time for a quick post.
This is my first attempt at an easel card and I really enjoyed making it. I think it will be the first of many.

I made this with the sketch from Truly Scrumptious for their challenge. I used the Wendy's freebie digital image cup cake Tilly. So I am entering into her competition too. This image was a joy to colour and I'm sure I will use it again and again.
I used wendy's image , coloured with Copics/promarkers, PM papers, Nesties, Sizzlets alphabet, fiskers hearts corner punch and stickles.

Just read the addition to the truly scrumptious sketch which is 3 flowers, 3 brad and 3 gems. Whoops I didn't do those so won't be eligible. Silly me in too much of a hurry as usual.
