white on white

I think I have shaken off my cold at last. It has been a miserable few days but thanks to all who sent kind words, they cheered me up.

I finally made a card for Less is More. I had the idea but not the concentration to make it till now. It was a little fiddly but I think worth it in the end.

I used Marianne scroll, Woodware flower punch and Sizzlets alphabet. The inside is Laura Ashley stamps in white pearl embossing powder.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

  29. I love your card, I saw it on Pinterest and had to come take a look. Did you cut the flourish out (is it a die cut done with a hand die or electronic like Cricut?) them I'm assuming you just glued it to the two pieces of the front? It's beautiful, and truly in this case less is more!!!
Thanks for sharing with all of us.

  30. I have tried different wights of paper and different size gap and add on piece but the add on just wobbles all over. Do you have any suggestions? Lynn

  31. Lynn, you didn't leave a link for me to reply, hopefully you will read this. For these cards I make sure I have attached enough of the scroll to each side to make it stable it. Failing that add a piece of acetate.

  32. Hello,

This is a beautiful card! Did you attach the patterned strip to a separate sheet, or is it attached to the right-inside half of the card?

    Thanks,

    Amy
