Less is More

I have haven't been round much this week. Last Friday I came down with a sickness virus and ended up in my bed all weekend. I am fine now thank goodness. I had an order for 40 invitations which I needed to complete, so what time I had was devoted to these. They have been delivered so I could make a quick card tonight for the Less is More challenge.

It's simply white and a splash of red. I cut out the aperture with Nestie labels, the flower is Marianne Creatables and the hearts are from a Martha Stewart border punch.

A little bird told me

This must be the quickest card ever.
Less is More has to be a one layered card and the theme is birds. My card is a digital image by Vera Ling (a freebie ages ago). It is coloured with Promarkers. What else can I say... oh Woodware corner rounder punch. That's it.

This card could be used for any occasion, a good one to keep as a standby.

A very Happy New Year to everyone.
I hope 2012 will be a wonderful year for you all.

This is my first card for 2012. I was lucky enough to be spyed by the lovely Lyn over on Spyder's Corner in December. Lyn kindly let me choose two of her digis. This is one of them.
It is called Fore street and can be found here. I have coloured this with Promarkers and used a Cuttlebug embossing folder, X-Cut hearts and the sentiment is computer generated. Very simple indeed, but I don't think this image needs too much fuss around it. This image was great to colour, so interesting.
