I had problems with my internet yesterday, which I think was my provider as it seems fine today!
I made this card with one of Lyn's images (Spyder's Corner).
It is a fun image and was great to play with. I coloured it with Promarkers and used little scraps that were lying in my stash. The border is a Martha Stewart punch and the embossing folder Cuttlebug dots.

My script stamps is an S for Stamps stamp I have had for years. The technique is very simple, masking and chalking and a little Stickles.

Hedgehog and roses

Good evening all. I have had a busy day today. I was on holiday from work and did some necessary housework and then it was off to my craft room for a play. I was at the SECC on Saturday at the craft show and bought some lovely First Edition Papers which I have used in my card below.

The colours are so very rich, I don't think the photographs do them justice.
This is my daughter's birthday card. She is passionate about hedgehogs, so this should be a winner.
I have used :-
First Edition papers, Country Companions stamps, Nesties, Martha Stewart border punch, Promarkers, Stickles and the rest from my stash.

Less is More

It's been another busy week again. I just don't know where the time is going, life is getting too fast.
I managed to fit in this card for Less is More. I do like the challenge to think up a quick simple card and this one is very simple indeed. I used left over scraps of paper (I have lots of this in little drawers and folders, kind of colour coordinated). I doodled a little with a white gel pen on the embossed card. A simple sentiment and beige pearls to finish.

This weekend is the craft fair at the SECC in Glasgow, so I am getting my list composed and looking forward to buying lots of goodies.

Good Luck

It's been a busy week so far. Yesterday I had my Grandson to babysit and then last night we had to take my Father-in-law to the hospital. We didn't get home till 1am. Gladly he is fine now, but I have been so tired today. I get up a 6am each morning so tonight I feel the sleep deprivation and am having an early night.
My card tonight is for my son who is starting a new job this week. Craig is a Doctor of Physics, hence the quote.

I have used the sketch from The Sweet Stop and the theme from Less is More, don't scrap it.
Not many crafty products used in this card! The sentiment is from Raindrop Echo Designs, and the rest is scraps of card and heart punches and sizzlet dies. Oh and Cuttlebug Dots.

I have been lucky this week to have won the Creative Card Crew challenge for a masculine card with my Hubby's valentine card.
