Boofle

I have had this on my desk for ages, I just couldn't decide what t do with it.
This is a free stamp from Creativity mag a while ago. I was disappointed that the stamp didn't have the knitted detail on it. So to work, I searched for some clip art knitting and here it is.

I have coloured Boofle with Promarkers and mounted on Nestie ovals. The rest is scraps and from my stash.

Top Tip Tuesday

Our challenge for the next 2weeks is

Dig Out The Old
(use something that is than 6 months or older and name it.)

Janette has a great tutorial  and the DT team have fabulous inspiration.

We also have lovely sponsors

I have used one of Nicecrane's design papers as a background to reflect the tailor's dummy image.

I made this a vintage feel card, not the kind I am comfortable with but I do like the way this one turned out.

I have used images by Ruth at  A Passion for Stamps, V & A paper fro Papermania, Chalks, Promarkers and the rest from my stash. The only new product is the Nicecrane paper. My edges are distressed and my lace is old and soaked in coffee to age it even more.

Mojo Monday

Another post from me today, very unusual. I was inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch. I looked out one of my very few House Mouse stamps, it hasn't seen ink for a while to make a card for my Son-in-Law's birthday.
I also used 1st Edition papers, Promarkers, Nesties, Cuttlebug dots, X-Cut stars and the rest from my stash.

Less is More

Less is More this week want to see 3 stamps on a one layer card.
Well I dug out some old stamps. The triple frame is one of the first stamps I bought at S for Stamps and the flourishes are Laura Ashley. The colour has been added with chalks.
Nice and simple...

Fizzy Moon

Another quick post tonight. I bought this Fizzy Moon stamp last week so I finally inked it up and coloured it with Promarkers. I also used the beautiful 1st Edition papers - love Letters, the glitter on them doesn't show on the photograph unfortunately.

Less is more

This week Less is More is 'Yellow'. It's not a colour I would use normally, but I do like the fresh and summery feel. I always take a while to think of a CAS card  and then it takes but a few minutes to make!

I made a rosette and topped it with a paper clip and brad. I have had these flower shaped paper clips for years and only just came across them the other day. The sentiment is a See D and the embossed border is a Cuttlebug border.
