Our Challenge is Focus on the Ribbon

I have made two cards this week, the first is with our sponsor image a beautiful rose corner from Delicious Doodles.

I also used Nesties, Cuttlebug dots, Promarkers, Wild Rose Studio paper.

My next card is made from recycled ribbon. These bits and bobs are from the hanging ribbon on clothes. They always annoy me so I cut them off and keep for crafty projects.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-

For this card I used Cuttlebug swirls, and a tag from Lili of the Valley.
I hope you can join us this week.

Pick of the bunch

I had a lovely play last night with the new stamps designed by Ruth for Tonic Studios, called Pick of the Bunch.
I was delighted to receive these from Ruth, thank you. The selection of roses, dragon flies and leaves are beautiful.
I kept this card simple using the sketch from Sketch Saturday to show this rose off. I distressed the paper and edges with Whisas ink pad.

I used Pick of the Bunch stamps, Promarkers, Stickles, Glossy Accents, Nesties and DCWV paper.

We actually had a day without rain today, its not very warm and it wasn't sunny but it was DRY. This is a local holiday weekend , so fingers crossed it is nice weather!

I couldn't resist using this memory Box die again, my new favourite. I have used X-Cut embossing folder, I embossed the squares and then moved the card slightly and embossed again for this effect. Patterned paper is Papermania, the sentiment is digital and the rest is from my stash.
