Top Tip Tuesday

Time is just flying by I can't believe it's the end of May already.
This fortnight on Top Tip Tuesday we have more great sponsors.

Our challenge this week is:-

Numbers

We would like to see numbers on your projects.

This is the card I made for my Grandson's 3rd birthday. He loves Batman & Spiderman. I used Clipart figures to help construct this card. (my tip for this week).

I drew the buildings and inked the edges and added an embossed backgound. The images were coloured with Promarkers, made a moon from Nestie circles.
I enjoyed making this scene.

Check out the my other team-mates projects on Top Tip Tuesday.

The first is a card using Penny Black dog  and sentiment image.

I also used Promarkers, Nellie Snellen die and a little chalk. The papers were a freebie from a mag.

New flower die

I bought this Memory Box flower die last Saturday at a lovely craft shop in Cupar in Fife. We were on our way to St Andrews to for the weekend and stopped off to get some groceries. I happened to notice a carpet shop with a Hougie Board in the window, well that only means one thing.... there must be more inside. This is a relatively new enterprise called McOyster Crafts. I  have never seen so many Memory Box and other dies on display and by all account more arriving soon. I think I may be a regular visitor from now on.

So here is my first card. Very simple as I was making this in a limited time.
I used Cuttlebug dots and Nesties.

A quick post

I have not been around much lately, I have so much going on. My father-in-law was in hospital again with mini strokes, but has since recovered well. He has new medication to take, so fingers crossed he will be well for a while.

Our start to the holiday weekend is lousy. The rain is teaming down and it's not very warm. I am just jealous of all those folk in the south.

I made this quick card last night. My photo's are terrible as the light is very bad. Usually hubby takes my pictures but we are out tonight and I couldn't wait or I would miss the Less is More challenge. This simple die is a favourite and so versatile.

I have used Memory box die, Papermania embossing folder' a little tearing and inking and not much else.

Enjoy the weekend.
