Creativity Online Talent Spot

I have been on cloud nine since being spotted on the Docrafts Creativity Magazine Online Talent Spot by Clare Curd. Clare invited me to make cards with the products she sent me. This was back in June, so you could imagine I have been thinking it was only a dream, till now that is. I have a copy of the magazine in my hand and seeing the article is very exciting. I am really delighted to have been spotted. Thank You Clare.

Bank Holiday Monday

Well! I'ts typical Bank Holiday weather. Pouring with rain in Scotland, so there is nothing else to do but make use of my craft room and play. The weather is supposed to clear in the afternoon but I think the weatherpeople mean late afterrnoon by the look of it.
I had a phone call this morning from a very excited friend. She has been picked as Blog of the Week on the docrafts.co.uk site. I think it may be a while till she comes back to Earth. Why not visit her on docrafts.co.uk in Vee''s corner. Well done Vera.
I will hopefully upload some cards later today.

Back to School

Yes, it,s that time of year again when little ones start school for the first time. A friend asked me to make a card for her granddaughter.

Congratulations!

This card was for friends who recently got engaged. I kept this card simple, again I couldn't resist the use of a Cuttlebug embossing folder. Add a few beads and a couple of glasses and hearts. Card complete and well received.

Large Pink Flower

This card is made using one of the Cuttlebug embossing folders (I just love them). I pressed the clear ink pad gently over the raised image and chalked it. My butterflies are chalked using the same colours. A large punched flower and a little wire finished the card off.

Friendly Frogs

This card was made for an ABC challenge for the letter F. I used friendly frogs, dragon Flies, flowers and an extended fold. I think it is quite funky.
