Baptism

I was asked to make a card for a baptism on Sunday. I didn't really have a stamp for this card but with so little time I had to make do with what was in my stash. This card also fits the Cute Card Thursday challenge which is 'New Beginnings'.

I used Joanna Sheen's Messy Rabbit stamp, Copics and Promarkers, Nesties, Cuttlebug dots embossing folder, Sizzlets alphabet, DCWV papers, X-Cut heart punch and Liquid Pearls, everything else is from my stash.

I have made a couple of adjustments to this card to suit an 80 year old birthday for an order.

I'm on a roll for Christmas cards, better doing this while the mood lasts. I made these with the sketch on Mojo Monday and Penny Black challenge theme of stiching. This is a simple sketch which lends itself easily to Christmas when making a lot of cards.

I used PB images and sentiments, Nesties, PM papers, Dovecraft and PM ribbon, PM gems, Copic/Promarkers, Cuttlebug Dots & Stickles.

I loved the sketch on Friday Sketchers and decided to put it together with the theme on Winter Wonderland which is candles. Its a great way to get some Christmas cards made early.

I used Nesties, Anitas candle stamp, Copics/Promarkers, Woodware & X-Cut punches, McGill leaf punch, Cuttlebug swirls, Craft Creations paper, Liquid Pearls and Stickles.

Truly Scrumptious

The Truly Scrumptious challenge is 'something other than a card'.
I made this collection below for a friends birthday next week.
I decorated the candle and made a box with acetate to put it in. Then made a small bag in a similar design to put the candle in.

Now the card, my second trifold. I enjoyed making this card.

Sorry for the long post but my hubby got carried away with the photography and I just had to use the pictures to show all the angles.
I used Nesties, Image Little Claires designs, Copics, PM free stamps from Creativity mag, cuttlebug dots, McGill leaf punch, Woodware & X-Cut flower punches, Kaban glitter.

Sketch # 3

The above sketch is one I did for Vee's sketch pad. It is a simple sketch allowing your imagination to kick in.... I have used the sketch for the card below using one of Ruth's images from a Passion for Stamps. As soon as I saw this image I loved it and was so pleased when Ruth had her images made into stamps. Pop over and see her blog and stamps.

I only ordered this stamp on Friday afternoon and it was delivered on Saturday morning. How surprised was I at such quick service from both Ruth and especially the post.

I used Ruth's image, Copics/Promarkers, Woodware punch, Nesties, K & Co papers, Liquid

Pearls & Pebbles Chalks.

Buzz in the Air

This card is based on my sketch on Vee' sketch pad. I thought I would show a sample. The card is also suited to Copics colour challenge and Lazy Dayz on Cute Card Thursday. I didn't have the exact colours of Copics C3, YR04, E57 but I used the nearest shades I had.
I used PB Buzz in the Air, Nesties, Free papers from Cardmaking & Papercraft mag & Copic pens.

Vee's Sketch Pad

I have been invited to make sketches for Vee's Sketch Pad. I make sketches on pieces of paper all the time for cards and scrapbooking, but on the computer is a whole new ball game. So I have struggled to make this first sketch with a bit of trial and error (more error than anything). I suppose it will become easier when I get used to all the facilities available.
This is not a challenge blog, it is for inspiration for when the mind goes blank (quite often in my case) just to kick start the creative juices. Why not pop over and have a look.

Milly

I made this card for an order for a little 3 year old girl. I liked the layout for Friday sketchers and the colours this week for Charisma cardz. These colours are perfect for a girlie card.
I used Milly from Pink Gem Designs, coloured with Copics and Promarkers, Craft Creations papers, X-Cut flower punch, Liquid Pearls, Stickles, Nesties and Dovecraft hearts.

Maggies Christmas

A card at last. I've been a bit slow this week but I have finally made it. This card is for Winter Wonderland, home for the holidays and the sketch from the Sugar Bowl challenge plus handmade flowers.
I used the Sugar Nellie stamp Maggie with a stick (star), Nesties Copics/promarkers, Woodare punchs, Craft Creations and Trimcraft papers, PM snowflake ribbon, Liquid Pearls and stickles.

The Sugar Bowl Challenge

Unusual for me 2 postings in one night. Another challenge, this time my first try at the Sugar bowl challenge. I don't have many Sugar Nellie stamps but this is one of my favourites. She is a dream to colour and is always so cute. This week is a sketch with added doodling, so here is my effort.
I used Sugar Nellie picking apples, Coics and Promarkers, Nesties, DCWV papers, McGill leaf punch, Woodware border and flower punches, Liquid Pearls, Sizzlets alphabet, Cuttlebug Dots embossing folder and ribbon and charm from my stash.
