Another Less is More

Just back from another day of looking after my Grandson. I am so tired, he really keeps me on my toes now, but we have great fun.

Another quick Less is More card. Very different from my last one.

I have used my new thistle stamp from Lavinia. I bought this in Wales last week.

I stamped it in grey and coloured it with chalks. The Woodware butterflies are also slightly chalked.

I missed last weeks challenge with Less Is More because of my holiday so this week I was determined to make a card.

The theme this week is butterflies.

This is so simple I scored lines and added butterfly images in various sizes.

I used one of Ruth's new digital images and coloured with Promarkers and then added a little wire for antenna.
So simple...

We have shocking weather here just now. The wind and rain are causing so much damage. It looks like autumn at the moment with all the leaves falling from the trees and lots of large branches have snapped off. I want to get on with my garden but the plants and baskets would not have a chance just now.

On to my card. My Dad's birthday is soon and so is Father's Day so plenty of male cards to make.

I have used another of Ruth's digital images on A Passion for Stamps which is perfect for this type of card.

I also used promarkers to colour, sizzlets alphabet, Nesties and the papers are Linda Maron blue linen wash.

Bluebells

My first card after my holiday, gosh it takes a bit if time to get back into a routine. Well back to work tomorrow, but only for one day then off again to look after my Grandson for a couple of days.

Star Wars

Just back from my babysitting day at Finn's. He fairly keeps me on my toes this weather, so to say the least I am tired tonight.

I have made this card for my Son-In-Laws birthday next month. He is a Star Wars fan, so this card is appropriate.

I used a download colouring page and coloured with Promarkers. I used making Memories paper, a download paper, Cuttlebug Dots & Woodware star punches

I think I have shaken off my cold at last. It has been a miserable few days but thanks to all who sent kind words, they cheered me up.

I finally made a card for Less is More. I had the idea but not the concentration to make it till now. It was a little fiddly but I think worth it in the end.

I used Marianne scroll, Woodware flower punch and Sizzlets alphabet. The inside is Laura Ashley stamps in white pearl embossing powder.

At last a card. I have had a very sore throat and cold this week (courtesy of my Grandson). It started last Friday and has come to a head and I hope now going away.
