A little birdie told me

I was asked to make a card for a 60th birthday.

I used 1st Edition Papers (Love Letters). I just adore those papers, the colours and quality are brill.

I have also used Digisparkle poppy image and a Pink Petticoat birds and sentiment image, Promarkers, Martha Stewart doily punch. Nesties and the rest from my stash.

I am finding it hard just now to find time to do everything, but here is a card I was asked to make this week. I used PB image and Promarkers, 1st edition papers, Nesties,  and X-cut flower punch. The sentiment is Doodle Pantry.

Our challenge this week is :-

A One Layer Card

I can hear you all groan, but take a look at the DT samples and Deneen's tutorial and your inspiration will flow. 

My card is using Robyn's Fetish Rose. My sentiment is Papermania. I have simply coloured with Promarkers and framed the image with a Letraset pen. A few dots of Liquid Pearls and to make the rose stand out I cut around parts of the image.

A Card at Last

I have finally made a card. It has been on my desk like seems forever. My Dad is out of hospital and improving so I have a bit more time. My sister and I have had to alter his house so that he can live in the ground floor only. It has take a bit of time and effort but it is nearly complete. 

Now my card. I have kept this one simple using Tonic Studios Pick of the Bunch deigned by Ruth Hamilton.

I have heat embossed the image in gold on pearl card and heat embossed the leaves and edges on cream vellum. The patterned paper is Papermania. A few gold gems and Liquid Pearls add the finishing touches.
