At last I have managed to make and upload a card. The past few nights I have been running my son back and forth to Glasgow and St Andrews. His car broke down on Sunday and it has been frantic since then. He now realises how much he is dependent on it.
This is a simple card but I love the idea of the hanging stars.
I have used Nesties labels, Woodware star punches, SeeD's sentiment, Cuttlebug Dots, acetate, and gems.

Less is More

This is my Less is More card this week. I don't have inks, so I have used my ink pads to make this card. Very simple, I only used Lavinias thistle stamps, Whipas, Brillaince and Memento ink pads.  Hubby takes the photos of  my cards and he moaned about this one, he said it was too much white and too little colour so he is not happy with the results.

Christmas in August

It's been a nice day here, but there is a chill in the air. Last night it was cold enough for the heating to be on!!!! Tomorrow we have a heavy rain and flooding warning.

On to my card, this is simple and therefore my entry for Less is More using the colours of my national flag. I am Scottish so it is blue and white from the saltire.

I used Woodware stamps, Nesties label, Cuttlebug embossing folder, white pearl embossing powder and Stickles.

Another quick post tonight. I made this card yesterday with another of Ruth's new digi images. Ruth has a few new digis on her blog A Passion for Stamps, well worth a look.

Less is More

Another lovely day today. I had my grandson today and we had a lovely time throwing stones in the river and playing with the sand, I just wishe these days could go on forever.

Now my Less is More card. Very simple indeed.

I used a strawberry image which was a free digi from TLC, coloured with Promarkers and the front is embossed with swirls folder.

Today I managed to have a crafty afternoon. I came home from work and managed to make 3 cards and finish one from last night. It's great when the juices flow and things go according to plan.

I made this Christmas card since there are so many Christmas in July challenges.

I used PB images and Woodware sentiment, Pebbles chalks, Sizzix stars, liquid pearls, Nellie multi frames and Nestie, Stickles and Promakers.

The photo doesn't really show the pearlised chalks or the glitter on some of the stars.
