I also used DCWV papers, Nesties, X-Cut stars, sentiment is rainbow echo designs, the strip and corner are my own designed paper.

Up jumped a scarecrow...

I had a day off work today woohoo. I had the painter in so while he was busy I made this card. When I saw the Paper Cutz challenge to use a scarecrow I was inspired to use one of Ruth's images. Fall and autumn colours are all the go just now too.
So here is my card. It was a fun one to make.

I used Ruth's scarecrow image, Promarkers, Chalks, Nesties, Cuttlebug embossing folder & American Crafts papers.

Less is More

I have my Less is More card a little earlier this week.

Its a lovely theme this week a single layered card with hearts. I used this old stamp which I can't remember the name. I added some doodled dots around the frame and inside the heart, and a few around the edge of the card. The heart is coloured with Promarkers and filled with Diamond Glaze. I added a few little nail art gems for sparkle.

Autumn

I have had a play tonight with Ruth's new digi images.  I have used two on this card. I made a background for the first time using digi images. I printed the maple leaves onto card in different sizes, this is an advantage with digi's as it is so easy to make the size you wish.  I coloured this with chalks in autumn colours. (they don't show up to well in the photograph.) I printed the toadstools and coloured with Promarkers and added spots with a gel pen.

I found a maple leaf punch in my box of punches. It was a stiff punch to use, I now have a sore hand!!! At least my Martha Stewart punch was easy.

And finally some raffia and that is that.
You can find Ruth's images here at A Passion For Stamps.
