Challenge Card

I have been a little lazy these past few days. I still get very tired occasionally since having pneumonia at Christmas. Sometimes I need to give myself a bit of a shake to get going.

Here is another of those 3 challenges in 1 card efforts. For the Penny Black challenge I have used a PB stamp on a Nestie with 3 brads, 2 ribbons and 1 flower. The backing paper is Basic Grey, the hearts are sizzlets die and various flower punches. The sketch I used is from Truly Scrumptious with handmade buttons. This card also fits the theme of a pretty Mum card for Charisma cardz.

Friday Sketch

This is my effort fro Friday Sketchers. At first glance I thought it was a little fussy for my taste but once I got started I quite enjoyed the sketch. I used a daisy sticker from Creativity Magazine. I don't usually use stickers, I like to stamp and make my own colour schemes but thought I would have a go with this anyway. I used Nesties labels one of which I embossed with Cuttlebug and DCWV papers. The daisies are X-cut punch.

2 more challenges

This weeks colour create challenge is brown and blue with lace and pearls as an option. I used this challenge with Clare Curd's weekly sketch on docrafts. I used DCWV papers from the Spring Stack and PB images. I love those little guys, their so cute. The sentiment is Lettraset rub ons and the hearts are Sizzlet dies.

Challenges!!!

This is amazing I made this card for Paper Take weekly ( pink, brown & orange) and Friday Sketchers. Then discovered it fitted in with the Penny Black challenge (something to eat) and Charisma Cardz challenge (animals) and Cute card Thursday (animal magic). Wow that is a record for me.

I used free papers from a magazine and PB image with bits and pieces from my stash.

A Spoonfull of Sugar Challenge

I hope everyone had a great weekend. I know mine was busy. I always try to do as much as I can on my two days off. I managed a little crafting.
A little late in making this card but done at last. The challenge at Spoonfull of sugar was a different shaped card. I made a similar card to this quite some time ago and liked the shape. I used stamps by Magenta with a little bit of wire for the stamens. The swirl stamp was free from Cardmaking and Papercraft Mag. I hand wrote the sentiment on Nesties.

ABC Challenge

Another first challenge for the ABC blog. The theme is blue and brown only my pictures look rather like black, but honest they are dark brown. I used Clare's sketch on docrafts for the layout. My papers are papermania and of course my new PB stamps, can't resist using them.
The sentiment is Studio G on a small Nestie and some beads from my stash.

Pink Again!

This is a new challenge for me over at Truly Scrumptious. This week is a sketch so I used my new PB stamp with vivid pink background paper (sorry don't know the name) and Cuttlebug Dots embossing folder. The sentiments are Studio G stamps, heart is Sizzlet with Papermania gems. The little flowers are X-cut punch.

Its a lovely day again so thought I would start a little spring clean! Unfortunately or maybe fortunately my vaccum cleaner decided to make a terrible noise and produce an awful smell. Nothing else for it but switch off and put it back in the cupboard. I have phoned the repair

company, they can't come till next Monday so I will just have to content myself with some extra crafting (No, I didn't do it deliberately).

Penny Black Get Well Soon

I hope you all had a great weekend. The weather was certainly spring like here. I love the colours in this card, they are lovely and fresh just like spring. This is from the sketch on Friday sketchers blog. I combined it with the Penny Black challenge and the colour create. Amazing 3 challenges in on card.

I used Papermania backing papers, colour create challenge pink & grey. My new PB stamp with get well sentiment Penny Black challenge. The little hearts are Sizzlets.

Splashing witzy

This is a last minute effort for Friday Sketchers. I used Little Suzy's Zoo 'Splashing Witzy'. I have had these stamps for a few years now and kind of forgot about them. They are overdue an airing I think. The background I made with an Artemio Magenta stamp. Image and hand written sentiment are mounted on Nesties. my flowers are a mixture of Sizzix, Woodware and X-Cut.

Colour Create Challenge

Red white & blue plus the option of holidays /travel, this is the theme over at colour create this week. This was a bit of a challenge as I don't have any images to do with travel or holidays, so a little improvisation was called for. What do you think? I used Little Suzy's Zoo 'sleeping boof'. I think he is cute. The backing papers were freebies from a mag. my homemade yacht is on Nesties and the sentiment is hand written.

I have just seen the Charisma Cardz challenge for this week and guess what? my card I uploaded earlier fits the bill perfectly as the theme is HUGS & CUDDLES. What better than to HUG your teddy...

It's the middle of the week again, I can't believe it as I still haven't made all the card I set out to this week. Never mind here is my PB entry. I used the Picked for You stamp which I just love. The backing papers are from Papermania and the flower punches are X-cut. The little sentiment is Whispas.

Hubby's Valentine

I hope everyone had a lovely valentine's Day with lots of cards and pressies. I obviously couldn't post this one earlier, but now he has received it here it is. A fairly simple card with plenty of love.
