AYLI challenge

Here we are in September and a new AYLI challenge. It is Brenda who is hosting this challenge.
She has chosen this fortnight's challenge theme is to showcase a project using

Your Favourite Rounded corners or Sharp Edges (ie circles or squares!) (& why).
You MUST explain WHY it is your favourite.

Our sponsor is

This is a hard choice. I use both circles and squares, so my choice today is squares. It always depends on the image. This design suited square and straight edges.

This is the card I made for my Grandson going to secondary school.

I used Promarkers, Birdie Brown pencil image, X-Cut letters, K and Co papers (very old), Sizzix squares and the rest from my stash.

I am entering this card into the following challenges:-
